Get to know Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Folake Adeyemi, who serves patients in Washington, D.C. 

Folake is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse who is affiliated with MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.  A member of MedStar Health, MedStar Washington Hospital Center is a not-for-profit hospital that is licensed for 926 beds. Being the busiest and largest hospital in Washington, D.C. and the surrounding area, it serves as a referral center and the central hub for the region’s most advanced acute medical care. Health services in primary, secondary and tertiary care are offered to adult and neonatal patients. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Bowie State University in Maryland, Folake went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
